School Council

River Gum Primary School Council welcomes all new students and parents to the school. The River Gum Primary School Council is a combined parent-teacher body whose functions are to:

• Assist in the formation of School Policy and Charter
• Ensure that the school is managed within the guidelines set out in the Policy and Charter
• Facilitate the preparation of the annual budget and ensure that the school is managed within the budget
• To provide support to the team of teachers and administration personnel.

River Gum Primary School is one of the most innovative and progressive schools in Victoria. It is imperative that all parents take active roles in reinforcing what is being taught in school. Such active participation ensures that River Gum Primary School continues to be progressive and helps build a better community in Hampton Park. A better community means a safer and tolerant society.
