Music Room

River Gum has a specialist music room and a specialist music teacher. All Prep classes receive 40 mins sessions on a weekly basis. Grades 1 to 6 have hour long sessions once a week. The music room is located in the Hall building, with entrances from the classroom side and Hall entrance. The design of the Music Room has been well thought out. Panelled doors separate the Music Room from the Hall. For performances, the panelled doors are rolled away and the Music Room becomes the stage and the Hall becomes the audience space. The Music Room also comes equipped with a huge storage facility for our ever-growing number of musical instruments. The children enjoy music classes where their individual talents are nurtured and supported.
